It has the trademark quirky dialogues, the central theme which is the relentless conflict between Sravan Singh and Bhagwan Das is well executed, but still it's very forgettable and just a bit better than average Bollywood movies, as an Anurag Kashyap fan I am slightly disappointed. Mukkabaaz is Anurag Kashyap's most commercial work till date, a cocktail of Indian politics, caste system, sports, struggles, social commentary which exhibits the struggles of a charming love story. Later, at Sanjay Kumar's house, both Kumar and Singh are attacked by a mob after being falsely accused of eating beef.
