would do it again. The trail is great definitely go early my friend n I got there at 630 got to the chair about 840 am it was a lil difficult on the way back it was already in the high 80s early 90s there was a good amount of foot traffic -umm I don’t recommend taking dogs, the trail is very narrow and it makes it difficult to pass one another -right before you get to the chair be super careful, the rails are not stabled and the trail is becomes very sketchy but another then that it was great definitely recommend it. The Devil's Punchbowl is a point where 2 faults collide, creating upwards jutting vertical walls as high as 300 feet. The staff were very friendly and the food perfect for the occasion. Bring lots of water. Summer hikers should bring lots of water as it can get seriously hot in this area! Devil's Chair If you want to keep your soul, think twice before a visit to the Devil's Chair! I spoke to a local and she said they are pretty generous with parking these days, but they will tow if you’re in front of a private gate.
If you visit the chair, you will note the little pocket on the lower right hand side under the stone that held the letter.
