They showed us round the Chateau so that we could get our bearings and suggested some lovely outings and restaurants for our stay there. This location offers a timeless and romantic location to exchange vows or hold receptions. The suites are largely self contained and therefore appear in the Holiday Rentals section which can be found on the TripAdvisor Home page. I can envisage this Chateau as a great place to hold that special event for friends and family; you can even hire. There is a handy welcome pack when you arrive, including some basic food items and use of a mobile phone if you want it. Superb facilities , incredible warm ambience and wonderful hosting from Jonathan and Michael. What an incredible experience, this was my first time to France and I would do it all over again in a heart beat! We'd had a stressful journey, by car from Calais via Bayeux, so arriving here in the middle of peaceful countryside was perfect. We arrived on a Sunday evening and all shops and restaurants were closed - we had a little food with us but David had organised a BBQ on the terrace so we joined that. It really is a pleasure for us to host such lovely guests and we are so glad when they write to say how much they enjoyed themselves. The local area is lovely too - we ate at the local Bar Riton twice during our stay, serving a very reasonably priced Menu du Jour which consisted of up to 4 courses with wine and coffee for 12.50!!! The welcome bottle of bubbles and high standard of everything, combined with beautiful surrounding forest and walks made this the perfect spot to kick back and relax. The apartment we were given was very spacious and luxuriously appointed, with a massive and super-comfortable bed, very stylish bathroom, and well equipped kitchen area.
