See all photos from L T. for Pakeezah Authentic Indian Cuisine. Otherwise, not very impressed. Excellent food! The table service was not at the sharp, crisp professional level one might want of elegant dining, but our server was attentive, engaging, and fun. We are a couple of Brits living in Bozeman and have been missing the kind of Indian food we are used to. Large portions big enough to share and very reasonably priced. How about some fish? Worst place ever!!!
Our waiter was working with numerous tables so the wait was understandable. It was very good, I thought the spices and flavorings were delicious.
Alcohol.
This is the version of our website addressed to speakers of English in United Kingdom. Left a very had taste in our mouths to drop $200 + after such disappointment. When I eat there, I know what to expect. I like that they had papadums because it's gluten free. Waited one hour and 20 minutes for our meals to arrive. No, that's not a typo. There were eight of us eating here on a Monday night.
They also have a very good lunch buffet.
We went here for the buffet today. I give them five stars based solely on the quality and deliciousness of the food.
Worst place ever!!! The waiter only said 3 words to us the entire time, and while I understand it's a buffet so the interaction is minimal, he never once asked us how everything was tasting. Service was good, not great, but the food! I am no veteran to South Asian cuisine, but I feel inspired to post a review about this place.
Pakeezah's entire cooking staff are from India (and one Bangladeshi) and this perspective is imbued in all of the wonderful food they create, from curries which have a true kick to the best chai I have every had.
The ambience is warm and inviting. Excellent food. Perhaps the kitchen staff was swapped, or there were not enough servers - but the service was terrible.
One grouchier member of our party up and left after an hour wait. Based on the guests' opinions, the decor is beautiful. We were so enthusiastic about this place from our meal two weeks ago...but those expectations were dashed during our last visit. THIS PLACE IS LIFE-CHANGING guys !! Fun place for large groups. 34 N Bozeman Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715-3628 +1 406-577-2471 Website Menu. Originally our concept was to put fine dining restaurants in the Bozeman area. Nice environment. An experience in the world of exotic flavors and recipes. They may have had no chutneys on the line at all. The first time anywhere in the US that I've found really great seasonings and spices perfectly combined. (4) Making it all right: After our wait, and the clear confusion in orders (which we brought to the staff's attention), we were billed for the meal in its entirety. Taste Indian cuisine here. Pleasantly surprised to find good Indian in Montana. Ate lunch buffet during soft opening and then the following week. There were eight of us eating here on a Monday night. When it got to the table, rice was cold, meat - chicken, lamb, shrimp, over-cooked and cold.
Pakeezah has great Indian food, it's the best in Bozeman. We reported our disatisfaction, upon request from the teen aged waiter/busser, and we received a 10% discount on our food (not drink). The lamb melted in your mouth and the chicken was so delicious. First visit great!, but the second time I visited for lunch buffet, they were out of chai tea, raita, tamarind chutney and another chutney. The butter chicken was great too. They offer you five levels; I personally ordered exactly what I had last time, with the same goat entree--this time, it was so spicy at level 3 that I could not finish the plate. But what our party of four experienced last night, was not in line with a final tab of over $200. Then we had the madras murgh & the...More.
Taste Indian cuisine here. in Sandwiches, Fast Food, Food Delivery Services, A modern Indian fine dining experience brought to you by Curry Express of Belgrade, which was the first Indian restaurant in the valley. What this place needs is a steady managerial hand to guide the whole operation and harness the amazing flavors, culinary potential, and great price point into what could be a perennial favorite. The customer comes first!!
The flavors were ok, but overall I felt a little disappointed. Terrific service is something clients agree upon here. You can pick spicy level from 1-5. We did a pick up from the restaurant. For being a fairly new restaurant they were certainly busy on the Friday night we went out for dinner. They run out of main dishes on line especially those that are more popular.
