I’ve avoid Sue Moorcroft books for a little while because I keep seeing them described as “emotional”, and I try to avoid too much emotion in my books. Once the characters finally made it to Switzerland I loved the book. It really set the mood with snow and mountains all around and the cosy Christmasey feel that the hotel still had in January.
